The new AMG radiator grille with vertical slats, flanked by restyled LED High Performance headlightsand trim elements in Silver Shadow provides them with an intimidating appearance. From the side, the robust shape catches the eye for the SUV, while the SUV coupe impresses by its sleek stance. The two standardly run on 19-inch wheels, but larger wheels, up to 21 inches, may be ordered. The taillights with their horizontal layout emphasize the width and solid nature of the cars.

The interior is just as sporty as the exterior. The mid-class SUV comes with sport seats as standard, with firmer lateral support for the driver and the front passenger. The black ARTICO leather upholstery with DINAMICA microfiber feature contrasting red stitching. The striking contrast is also formed by the aluminium finish with a longitudinal grain.

The driver standardly gets the AMG steering wheel with a flattened lower section, covered in DINAMICA microfiber and perforated in the grip area. He can shift gears by using the shift paddles behind the steering wheel for a sportier drive.

The MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, based on artificial intelligence, can be engaged when speaking out “Hey Mercedes”. It is capable of recognizing almost nearly all sentences from the fields of infotainment and vehicle operation, even if they are expressed indirectly.

The data is displayed on the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and on the 10.25-inch touchscreen in the center console.

The one behind the steering wheel may select one of the five driving programs available: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ și Individual. The programs are now connected to the AMG DYNAMICS system, adapting the characteristics of the vehicle to the conditions of the road or to the requirements of the driver.

The SUVs are equipped with the AMG RIDE CONTROL+, based on the AIR BODY CONTROL air suspension with Adaptive Damping PLUS. At high speeds, the cars get closer to the ground to enhance aerodynamics and stability. By a switch located in the center console, the driver can choose different settings for the dampers: Comfort, Sport or Sport+.
