Mercedes-Benz has already sold more vehicles in the past eleven months than in the entire year 2013. In November, the Stuttgart-based brand posted another sales record of 150,742 units sold, meaning a growth of 13.0%. Thus, Mercedes-Benz has achieved another record in every month of this year.

Ola Källenius, Member of the Divisional Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Cars responsible for Marketing & Sales said that “November was a very successful month for us. We have already topped the total sales of the previous year in November. This will turn 2014 into another record year for Mercedes-Benz”.

Mercedes-Benz sold in Europe 61,060 vehicles only in the month of November, with 13.6% growth compared to the same month of the previous year. Regarding the German market, the three-pointed star company posted a growth of 9.2% with 23,373 vehicles handed over to clients, while maintaining its market leadership among premium manufacturers. Furthermore, in November were registered growth rates of more than 30% in France and Spain.

Regarding the NAFTA region, 38,740 units were sold in November, an increase of 2.3%. In the biggest market for Mercedes-Benz, the USA, November was by far the best selling month in history with 34,578 delivered clients.

C-Class Sedan and Estate post 53.3% sales growth

For the Asia-Pacific region the sales number also exceeded by 23.3% the previous year’s November sales. 26,184 vehicles were delivered to Chinese customers, while in Japan, where Mercedes-Benz is the market leader among the premium car manufacturers, sales increased by 23.2%.

Mercedes-Benz continues its path as market leader in the luxury segment with 9,519 S-Class Sedans handed over to clients, a growth of 25.0%. The number of sold SUVs has increased by 5.1% ever since the beginning of the year.

All interested customers can now experience live the new smart fortwo and smart forfour  at dealers since November 22. In Germany, more than 50,000 people visited the dealerships and more than 4,000 test drives were conducted on the spot.
