Mercedes has created a special edition limited to just 35 units, available exclusively for the Middle East. Called the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Mirage Edition, it is powered by the familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 585 PS and 850 Nm.

In 2025, more than half of the Mercedes G-Class’ total sales of 49,700 units were accounted for by the flagship Mercedes-AMG G 63. Many of these top-spec customers come from the Middle East, which is why Mercedes is now offering them this exclusive special edition, limited to only 35 vehicles.
Luxury off-roaders are extremely popular in the Middle East because they not only provide their owners with a strong sense of prestige but are also highly practical for driving on sand dunes. This is also why other premium off-road vehicles such as the Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol enjoy tremendous popularity in the region.
Under the hood is the standard powertrain from the AMG G 63: a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 585 PS and 850 Nm, paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. The technical package remains unchanged, featuring three locking differentials and the AMG Active Ride Control suspension with electronically controlled dampers and hydraulic roll stabilization, eliminating the need for conventional anti-roll bars.
Photos of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 Mirage Edition were unveiled on the Mercedes-Benz Instagram account. The most significant changes are cosmetic, setting the special edition well apart from the standard model.
The vehicle is finished in an exclusive Silver Green Magno paint, whose shade shifts between silver and green depending on the light, creating an effect reminiscent of a desert mirage. The 22-inch AMG seven-spoke wheels are finished in Tech Gold, while the spare wheel cover features the inscription “1 of 35”, emphasizing the model’s exclusivity.
Mercedes has not yet announced pricing. In Germany, the standard Mercedes-AMG G 63 starts at €192,691. Equipped with either the AMG Off-Road Package or the AMG Performance Package, the price rises to around €208,000. Given the exclusive paint finish, bespoke wheels, additional customization options, and the production run of only 35 units, the Mirage Edition will undoubtedly command a substantially higher price than the standard model.
