850 HP, a peak tork of 1,450 Nm and a top speed of 350 km/h. This is how much Brabus got from the Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet. Somewhat predictable, given the tuner’s reputation. The cabriolet has been upsized in just about every way possible.

There’s a titan coming your way with a monstrous output to match its colossal image. It produces so much power that its top speed is higher than that of a mid-size plane on the runway, ready for takeoff. This is the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio. To help preserve the car’s 7-speed automatic transmission together with the all-wheel drive system, the tuners had to limit the peak torque down to 1,150 Nm.

The capacity of the 5.5-liter biturbo V8 was pumped up to 5,912 cc, as Brabus supplemented the unit with a longer stroke crankshaft, enlarged the cylinder bore and fitted matching forged pistons and connecting rods. The standard turbochargers have been taken out and in their place, Brabus mounted larger ones, with larger compressor units, coupled with the bespoke exhaust manifolds. A customized stainless steel exhaust system channels the waste out.

As for the inlets, a set of larger air filter boxes together with carbon air ducts assist the engine in getting more air, while the intake heat shielding is made of pure gold.

The figures previously mentioned determine others that make the titan Brabus 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio runs the 0-100 km/h distance in just 3.5 second, hitting the 200 km/h mark in 9.4 seconds only. The top speed was electronically limited down to 350 km/h.

Its power is only matched by its looks. The titan wears the 21-inch Monoblock “Platinum Edition” wheels shod with 255/35ZR21 rubber at the front and 295/30ZR21 at the rear. A suspension module lowers the car by 15 mm. Brabus added fierce carbon fiber elements on the front and rear bumpers, together with a rear wing.

On the inside, the AMG specific interior got some extra carbon fiber trim, illuminated scuff plates, aluminium paddles shifters, pedals and door locks and the tuner’s badge all over the seats.

The standard speedometer has been replaced by one scaled up to 400 km/h, just in case the driver forgets what titan he’s got his hands on.
