Mercedes justifies the price by noting that it is actually slightly cheaper than the Mercedes GLC 400 e 4Matic Plug-In Hybrid, which has only 381 PS. Additionally, the Mercedes GLC 450 d 4Matic diesel, with 367 PS and mild-hybrid technology, is over €7,000 more expensive.

At launch, the Mercedes GLC 400 4Matic is available in the special Long Range Edition (3,403 euro), featuring the Avantgarde line, the Agility & Comfort package, and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The Avantgarde line is standard, while the AMG Line (3,451 euro) and AMG Line Plus (7,556.50 euro) packages are available as options.

Three optional packages are offered:

  • Advanced Plus with Digital Extras – 3,570 euro

  • Premium with Digital Extras – 7,497 euro

  • Premium Plus with Digital Extras – 11,305 euro

The Advanced Plus package includes the Mercedes-Benz iconic grille with illuminated panel and surround, partially illuminated Mercedes star, Sky Control panoramic roof, Superscreen with three separate displays (digital instrument cluster, multimedia display, and passenger display), ambient lighting, and memory package.

The Premium Package additionally includes Digital Light, Comfort Package, Burmester audio system, and Energizing Air Control.

The Premium Plus Package further adds the Hyperscreen display—a single 99.3 cm-wide screen spanning the entire dashboard—ventilated and massaging sport seats, heated rear bench, Burmester high-end 4D Surround sound system, illuminated pattern in the panoramic roof, and the Pre-Safe system. However, this package is not compatible with the Avantgarde line.

The standard suspension uses steel springs, while the optional Agility & Comfort Package (2,844 euro) adds adaptive Airmatic air suspension and rear-axle steering.

AC charging at 11 kW is standard, while 22 kW AC charging costs an additional 654.50 euro.

The Mercedes GLC 400 4Matic supports DC fast charging on 800V stations up to 320 kW. For compatibility with older 400V DC stations, an optional 654.50 euro upgrade is required—charging power in that case is limited to 100 kW, instead of 320 kW available on 800V networks.
