The Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic facelift saloon and estate will join the stage tomorrow at Geneva Motorshow near to the normal versions of Mercedes C-Class saloon and estate versions.
The new Mercedes-AMG C 43 4Matic saloon and estate will be available with an updated V6 bi-turbo engine with output increased by 23 HP to 390 HP thanks to larger turbochargers (maximum charge pressure 1.1 bar). The peak torque of 520 Nm is available from 2.500 to 5.000 rpm and has the same value like before.
The C 43 4Matic saloon accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and the estate in 4.8 seconds. The engine is mated with the AMG Speedshift TCT 9G transmission and rear biased AMG Performance 4Matic all wheel drive (31/69% front/rear).
The Dynamic Select adaptive drivetrain allows to choose four different programs – Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual. There is now a fifth program Slippery for slippery or snow covered road conditions. Independently of the Dynamic Select programs, the driver has the option of pressing M button to switch directly to manual mode in which gearshifts are changed exclusively with the shift paddles from the steering wheel.
AMG Ride Control suspension is available as standard and the driver can choose three different settings of the damper characteristics: Comfort, Sport and Sport+.
The main news at the exterior are the AMG radiator grille in a twin-louvre design, the new rear apron with round twin tailpipe trim elements in high-gloss chrome, the sporty side skirts and the aerodinamically optimised AMG light-alloy wheels. The standard 18 inch wheels has five twin spokes painted in tremolite grey with a high-sheen finish mated with 225/45 R 18 tyres at front and 245/40 R18 tyres at the rear.
The optional 19 inch wheels has five twin spokes patinted in tantalite grey high-gloss black or matt black with a high-sheen finish with 225/40 R 19 tyres at the front and 255/35 R 19 tyres at the rear.
At the interior, the clients can choose the AMG Performance seats with the adjustment of the side bolsters and integrated head restraints. For the first time in the C 43 4Matic, the Performance seats are available with climatisation in three levels in combination with leather upholstery.
The standard multimedia display Audi 20 come with a 7 inch display (960 x 540 pixels) while the new extra-wide 10.25 inch display is available as standard in conjunction with Comand Online or optional for the Audi 20 GPS system.The steering wheel with the built-in Touch Controls like in the S-Class facelift is also new.

- warm-up (engine and transmission oil temperature plus charge pressure)
- setup: current status of suspension, ESP, transmission
- G-Force: display of curent G-Forces
- Race Timer: manual stopwatch for lap times and colour display of fastest and slowest laps
Another option is the AMG Track Pace which is a kind of a virtual race engineer for recording data when driving on closed-off racetracks.
