The Mercedes-AMG A 35 hot hatch is coming to this year’s Paris motor show and the Germans are busy with the teaser campaign. Today, we can see a video preview.
More and more details about the mild-extreme hatchback are coming out. For example, the latest flashy video gives us a better picture of the front bumper and rear spoiler and we see the car (in the distance) for the first time in its entirety.
The generous spoiler placed at the top of the tailgate was shown partialy for the first time yesterday, now we see it in full and it looks just like the one on the GLA 45 AMG. Still, the spoiler on the A 35 AMG may only be reserved for the First Edition. Furthermore, the extensions with black carbon details on the front bumpers should ensure better aerodynamics.
The Mercedes-AMG A 35 is only the beginning of the AMG campaign that Mercedes-Benz is about to launch for the new A-Class line-up. It is the first time that a milder AMG variant will be available for the A-Class under the A 45 AMG on the pricelist.
How much power the A 35 and A 45 AMG will get is still unknown. Officially! Off the record we expect 300 hp for the Mercedes-AMG A 35 and no less than 400 hp for the Mercedes-AMG A 45. The previous generation Mercedes-AMG A 45 had 381 tamed horses.
The Mercedes-AMG A 35 will be revealed in full in the French capital during the Paris Motor Show, next month.
