The Mercedes-AMG GLB 45 will develop up to 421 horsepower in its top 45 S version! The future sporty SUV was spied testing on the Nürburgring. Video.
Already seen in tests, a prototype of the future Mercedes-AMG GLB 45 (photo) is now shown in a new video, shot around and on the German circuit of Nürburgring.
The German manufacturer should launch a classic Mercedes-AMG GLB 45 version, as well as a sportier version “45 S”. The aesthetic differences between the two variants will be at the front and rear bumpers, plus the exhaust pipes.
Under the hood, the power output could reach as much as 421 horsepower, squeezed from the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine. The Mercedes-AMG 45 “basic” variant would mean “only” 387 horses. In any case, the duo would benefit from a 4×4 transmission and an automatic eight-speed gearbox.
0 to 100 km / h under 5 seconds
If you want a slightly less edgy version than the Mercedes-AMG GLB 45, the Germans have recently officially presented the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35, which has a turbo 2.0-liter engine with 306 horsepower. This vitamin-rich GLB can go from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.2 seconds, while its top speed is capped at 250 km / h. The 45 and 45 S versions will be logically even better, at least on the 0 to 100 km / h run. Discover the new Mercedes-AMG GLB 45 in the spy video below.
