This Mercedes-Maybach S-Class ditched the standard wheels and put on Forgiato wheels. The luxury sedan reportedly belongs to NFL star DeSean Jackson. And there is a reason why the wheel maker brands it as “0ne of 0ne”.
Las Vegas Raiders’ wide receiver is the man who thinks he can draw attention like a magnet in a black Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. And he’s apparently right. Because his all-black luxury sedan has just received this contrasting silver set of Forgiato-branded wheels. Those perfectly match the chrome vertical slats of the Maybach radiator grille adorning the front end and all the chrome details at the rear end and on the sides.
The 35-year old NLF star left his car in the hands of the Los Angeles, California-based Creeative Designs Motorsports experts. Several days later, he took it home looking just like this. And it’s not just the wheels that they changed on his limousine, but the ride height as well. Now his Mercedes-Maybach S-Class rides lower and comes with a more intimidating stance.
DeSean Jackson makes the most of his Mercedes-Maybach S-Class S 580 with Forgiato wheels
Most probably, DeSean Jackson is driving the S 580 4MATIC version, since the V12-powered S 680 is not available in the United States. Therefore he’s getting the best of his 4.0-liter V8 with a mild hybrid system, providing 503 PS (496 HP) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. When the right pedal goes all the way to the floor, the sumptuous sedan simply floats to 100 km/h (62 mph) with all the comfort that a magic carpet can offer, in just 4.8 seconds. And if the driver pushes that pedal some more, it reaches a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph) just as smoothly.
Forgiato claims it is a unique model, branding it “0neof0ne”, where zero replaces the letter “o”. That’s exactly the name of the clothing line that DeSean Jackson launched. And that is just the name the athlete is using on Instagram.
