The special exhibition “50 Years of AMG” ends in style with a passenger ride event

The special exhibition “50 Years of AMG” is coming to an end, on the 6th of May 2018, but not without a passenger ride event. Guests are invited to test the company’s supercars on the racetrack at the Mercedes-benz Unterurkheim plant.

Professional drivers from the AMG Driving Academy will be behind the steering wheel to thrill and entertain the guests. The rides can be won on the day, onsite.

A special AMG vehicles exhibition will be displayed in front of the Mercedes-Benz Museum and in the Atrium. The guests who arrive on-board of a car with the AMG logo can park on the Museum Hill.

50 years of AMG 2

From October 2017 to April 2018, almost 200,000 have visited the special exhibition “50 Years of AMG” at the Mercedes-Benz Museum. To enchant more guests, the exhibition was extended by about a month. Now a passenger ride event is marking the grand finale of the 8-month event, with activities taking place at the museum from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There will be three supercars available for the joyride:

  • Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC
  • Mercedes-AMG E 63 Estate 4MATIC+ T-Modell
  • Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster

Those who get on-board the carss must be over 16 years of age. The rides are set to take place on the test track at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Untertürkheim, an area usually closed to the public.
