Do you have a pair of glasses at hand? What if it is raining? We guarantee you are going to need them to browse through the photo gallery of a hideously purple (yeah, you got that right, it’s purple!) SL 65 AMG Black Series.
No matter how you look at it, it just seems wrong. So terribly wrong. Tuning is so popular nowadays and drivers have so many options to choose from. But chrome wrapping seems to be getting out of hand.
We can’t possibly understand what this driver meant to get from his supercar. But one thing is for sure: the flashy look just does not work on the SL 65 AMG!
That great looking set of 23-inch concave wheels with black matte finish, done by ADV.1 is uselessly trying to make up for the glitzy-ritzy-kitschy display of power. At least they match the black carbon details that grace the purple vehicle, like the front grille and the rear diffuser.
That poor V12 engine (well, “poor” is just a way of putting it) of the SL 65 AMG Black Series must be crying its horsepower out in shame. Cause there is absolutely no way the AMG performance car with the purple foliation could just drown in the crowd.
But there are some good news: the wrapping was carried out some three years ago. Maybe by now, the Black Series turned black. Or silver. Or white. Or red. We can live with that!
