The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is the best-selling luxury car in Canada. The BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 come second and third in the premim sales race. The BMW’s position comes as a surprinse, as it used to be the usual best-seller in the state between the Pacific and the Atlantic.

6.269 Canadians jumped for joy when they saw their new Mercedes cars in their driveways. The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is topping the list of luxury on wheels after the first seven months of 2015. The company has started on a mission to pass the 2012 peak, when it sold 10,616. And apparently, they have got all the chances in the world (or all the chances in Canada) to do it. Compared to last year’s first seven months, this year’s figures are up by 65.3%

But the new leader of the premium sales ranking comes as a surprise in the North American state, where the BMW 3 Series had been leading for a while. But now it’s down by 0.2%, enough to come second. 5.320 Canadians bought the 3 Series in 2015.

The Audi A4 is in the fourth position in the top of the best sold luxury cars in Canada. The model has suffered modest declines in each of the past two years and this year, it’s down by 3.9%. Audi manages to get the podium position outselling the BMW 4 Series by 215 units.

The 4 Series models are going extremely well, as the sales are up by a whopping 79.9%.

Mercedes has placed one more car in the ranking of the best-selling premium cars in Canada. The Mercedes-Benz CLA crosses the finish line in the 7th position, being outsold by the Audi A3 by just 110 units sold until the beginning of August.
