The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are inching closer to their debut. Mercedes-Benz is accelerating the teasing campaign.

Following the release of a photo that shows the silhouette of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet, Mercedes-Benz comes with yet another official image. It is the first photo of the interior of the two “dream cars”, as the premium car maker refers to its coupes and cabriolets.

The two future members of the extended E-Class family will feature the latest generation of the MBUX infotainment system. They will come with the voice assistant that helps the driver control most of the cars’ functions. The occupants can activate it when simply saying “Hey Mercedes”.

The infotainment system will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, capable of displaying augmented reality.

The E 53 AMG though will feature a more distinctive instrument cluster with three display modes, as the Supersport setting will show a tachometer. A G-meter and a race stopwatch will also be there.

A new steering wheel finds its place in the cabin of the models. Special sensors are capable of detecting whether the driver holds his hands on the steering wheel or not and send impulses and visual and audio alerts requiring him to take control when necessary.
