Security meets luxury in the latest INKAS creation: the bulletproof Mercedes-Maybach S600. If you are a chief state, if you are a gangster or just wanted dead or alive, this is the car for you. The Toronto-based company has just revealed its armoured version of the latest Maybach.
The world famous company INKAS is the first ever to convert the new Mercedes-Maybach S600 into a bulletproof fortress.
If the exclusive limousine might look the same on the outside, don’t be fooled by the looks. Nothing of the style and exclusivity were altered during the transformation, all thanks to the modern composite materials and lightweight armoring techniques. But looks can be deceiving, as the Mercedes-Maybach S600 is now wearing a full metal jacket.
The vehicle secures its precious load by even running on flat tyres for 60 kilometers. A fire-supression system together with a smoke screen mechanism have been installed on this impenetrable limousine, to make every escape an easy mission. INKAS Armored has taken security one step further by installing fully operable windows, but still maintaining the necessary ballistic properties and featuring the most transparent glass available on the market today.
“It shows what happens when the best innovations in security, performance and technology merge to make a top-notch vehicle. Based on the Mercedes-Maybach S600, it caters to customers who desire prestigious, high-class vehicles without compromising safety,” says David Fraser, COO for INKAS Armored Vehicle Manufacturing.
You might be used to seeing a brighter shade of upholstery. But the super comfortable seats with massage functions have been covered in black leather and the door panels and dashboard have received the exact same treatment.
To make sure you, the VIP, reach your destination safe and sound, you need to pay half a million dollar for this fortress on wheels. The price includes hand-delivery by an INKAS Ambassador, who will offer a complete on-site vehicle guide and security systems training.
