Nearly a year after the market launch of the S-Class Coupe, the noble sports car gains a new entry-level model, the Mercedes-Benz S 400 4Matic Coupe powered by a 367-horsepower V6 as the new base engine.
Courtesy of this new version, the S-Class Coupe can now be yours for 99,960 euros. This is the first time the top of the range S-Class derived four-seat GT comes below the 100k barrier. The model range previously comprised only V8 and V12 powered variants – the S 500, the S 500 4MATIC and the three AMG models S 63, S 63 4MATIC and S 65.
Thanks to the standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and 500 Nm of torque, the 5.03-meter long Mercedes-Benz S 400 4Matic Coupe accelerates in 5.6 seconds to 100 km/h. The force is distributed to all four wheels by means of the well-known automatic transmission 7G-Tronic Plus.
Among the extensive equipment on board Mercedes highlights the THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control with two climate zones, LED Intelligent Light System with variable light distribution for country roads and motorways, active light function, cornering light function, enhanced fog light function and Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, the COMAND Online multimedia system and the AIRMATIC air suspension.
