The Mercedes-AMG G 63 is a dream car for many. It’s iconic, it’s fast on the road and super capable off it and has been around since forever. 1979, actually. But a YouTuber thinks it deserves to be dropped through the roof of a hut. If you watch all the way to the end, you will see that it was all for a good cause.

Does WhistlinDiesel ring a bell? If not, you must know he is a YouTuber, by his real name Cody Detwiler, who has been making money by views. Views of what, you may ask. Views of stupid stunts such as this one. How much money has he made this far? According to Biooverview, he’s got a net worth of $2 million as of 2022.

The 24-year old’s strategy is simple. He buys or just receives expensive cars, crashes, drops, smashes them, films everything, uploads the videos on YouTube and then sits and counts the views and the money pouring in.

This is what he’s doing right now with his latest video. His friend Tommy wanted to get rid of a shed. And there is a young woman who was angry at her parents who delayed the arrival of her very much wished for birthday gift, a Mercedes-AMG G 63, because they had just bought her brother a Lamborghini. But when it finally arrives, it drops through the ceiling to surprise her. That was the best-case scenario, where everything worked according to plan.

The candy red off-roader shows up with a red ribbon on the hood. A team cuts through the roof of the shed and the car hangs from a crane. And off it goes. But nothing works as planned. It crashes on a side, with most windows and sunroof broken and plenty of body damage. They strap it to pull it out of the rubble. But there it goes dropping again, on the left rear corner and flips back onto its side. The car is in pieces. The arrival at the repair shop causes further damage. But if you watch the video, you will see that, in the end, it was all for a good cause.
