Sales Launch Mercedes EQS SUV: From 110,658.10 Euros

Mercedes has announced pricing for the Mercedes EQS SUV electric luxury SUV whose deliveries will begin in December 2022.

At the start of sales, the Mercedes EQS SUV will be available in three versions:
EQS 450+ single-engine, rear 265 kW (360 HP),  from 110,658.10 euro
EQS 450 4Matic two engines, 265 kW (360 HP), from 114,446.10 euro
EQS 580 4Matic two engines 400 kW (544 HP), from 135,291.10 euro

All versions of the Mercedes EQS SUV have extra power compared to the EQS sedan : 360 HP instead of 333 HP for the EQS 450+/450 4Matic and 544 HP instead of 523 HP for the EQS 580 4Matic.

Surprisingly, there are no equal price differences compared to the equivalent versions of the EQS limousine. For example, the base version of the SUV is almost 3,000 euros more expensive than the EQS 450+ limousine while the other two versions are 3,500 euros respectively 4,000 euros cheaper than the EQS 450 4Matic and EQS 580 4Matic respectively.

The second row of seats is electrically operated as standard. The third row of seats can optionally be ordered for 1,904 euro, in which case the Easy Entry function on the second row of seats is also included.

Also new is the combinations of interior and exterior packages. Three configurations are possible:
– Standard exterior & Electric Art Line interior
-Electric Art Exterior & Electric Art Interior
– AMG Line Exterior & AMG Line Interior

The Electric Art Exterior package costs 1,547 euros and includes 21-inch alloy wheels and large chrome inserts while the AMG Exterior package costs 4,760 euros and also comes with 21-inch wheels in 5-spoke AMG design, wheel arch and side panels in high-gloss black, AMG kit with front bumper painted in body color with the lower part in high-gloss black and rear apron in the same high-gloss black and high-gloss chrome inserts.

Adaptive air suspension and integral steering are standard on all versions. As with the EQS range, the top version EQS 580 4Matic comes standard with Hyperscreen. On all other versions the Hyperscreen costs 8,568 euros extra. The head-up display with augmented reality costs 2,380 euros and the Burmester 3D Surround sound system costs a further 1,428 euros.

Also, according to the new optional equipment policy, Mercedes has greatly reduced the list of individual extras and grouped them into packages called Advanced, Advanced Plus, Premium, Premium Plus and Business Class.
