Mercedes-Benz has partenered with Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer to promote the brand-new 2016 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe. See the extended video ad.
To set things straight right from the start, Federer reveals his passion for Mercedes-Benz goes way back to its teenager years, before he even got his driver’s license.
“When you’ve been at the top of the game for so long, how do you stay there?”, Mercedes is quick to link its state-of-the-art GLE Coupe to the 33-years old tennis champion, stating their similar nature, striving to be the best.
What does this message translate to? Simple. Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe is mastering two classes of vehicle: the sporty nature of a coupé imbued with the striking characteristics of a robust SUV.
The new 9G-TRONIC nine speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive system are standard, alongside the optional AIRMATIC air suspension, available for the first time with the continuously variable damping system ADS Plus.
The sporty charcter of the new GLE Coupe is also evidenced by the 4MATIC system modified for greater agility with its torque split 40:60% front to rear.
