“It’s not for everybody, but for those who love the extraordinary.” This is how Performmaster describes its new Mercedes-Benz G805 with 805 horsepower and with a body kit that makes keeping a low profile next to impossible.
Thus the G63 becomes the G805 and is now presented in a world premiere, on a G manufaktur in olive green metallic and a G manufaktur night black magno. Its designation is nothing but a hint to its new massive output. The car wears a new body kit that adds 10 millimeters to its track, giving it an imposing stance. “The brute sound will not only make the Performmaster G805 Carbon Wide Body stand out, but will also catapult it into a league of its own”, the tuner’s reps claim.
The body kit comes with a new front fascia with a grille supporting the Performmaster badge. A new bumper adds to the wow factor at the front with its carbon fiber air intakes.
There is also a redesigned hood with large air intakes. There are new sports carbon fiber wheel arch extensions. At the rear, a new carbon fiber spoiler stretches off from the roof of the off-roader.
Pop the doors open, with the usual “click” and you get to see the Alcantara and leather combo trim.
Performmaster worked – as its name implies – on the performance as well. As previously mentioned, it’s not called ‘G805’ for nothing. Now the 4.0-liter V8 engine, fitting an in-house PEC tuning module. There are thus 805 horsepower and 1,020 Nm of torque, leaving the 585 horsepower and 850 stock figures far behind. The tuning company claims that the SUV can now run from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.69 seconds. Its top speed reaches 260 km/h (162 mph).
The prices are still a secret and will only come out once Performmaster updates the car in compliance with the TUV approval in Germany. Those who want such a car on their hands can either purchase the whole vehicle or the tuning package. The Carbon Wide Body Kit is also available individually for the owners of Mercedes-AMG G 63 models.
