2017 Mercedes GLC Coupe is coming to Geneva. Hence, the camouflage is running thinner and thinner ahead of the official debut so time for another spy video signed by Walko.

2015 was the year of the SUV with a plethora of launches  ranging from the GLE and GLE Coupe to the GLC andGLS. And the pace is not bound to slow down. In 2016, Mercedes already has a tight schedule, preparing the launch of its all-new GLC Coupe.

Mercedes prepared us for the swoopy lines of its new SUV last April, when it debuted the GLC Coupe Concept at the Shanghai Motor Show. This is the smaller brother of the GLE Coupe, so the main focus of the GLC Coupe is its design. The front end gives the first taste for the sporty, muscular philosophy that characterizes the whole car: short overhang, upright radiator grille and a twin-blade louvre which wraps around the three point star logo. Apparently to counter the GLC Coupe’s reduced luggage space Mercedes has mounted a roof box meant to bring back the family friendliness Benz SUVs are known for.

Styling apart, though, Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will share both its platform and its engine line-up with its GLC regular SUV sibling and the entire C-Class family. Earmarked for the GLC Coupe are four and six cylinder units and a GLC 350 e plug-in hybrid version.

Commercial debut is already confirmed for the Summer, so the Geneva premiere cannot come any sooner.
