After the A-Class Limousine, the second generation CLA four door coupe is also coming next year. First spy pics of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 variant are here via Carscoops.
Although the A-Class Limousine and the CLA may not differ much design wise, they both attack a different segment. The A-Class is a true spacious sedan based on the A-Class hatchback, while the CLA is a four-door coupé. The model therefore looks a lot sportier with a stronger sloping roof line and wider wheel arches. The nose is unmistakably Benz with the large grille and a large star mounted in the middle.
Furthermore, we expect many influences from the CLS presented this year, which basically plays in the same segment, but a two classes higher higher.
Inside, we expect to encounter little news. Of course, the new MBUX interface and the now classic dual display layout will adorn the dashboard. The fabrics used are of genuine Mercedes quality and the palette for the various interior components covers many different colors.
In addition to regular petrol and diesel engines, a Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 version will also available and it is this hot variant with 306 hp (courtesy of a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine) and 4Matic all-wheel drive that has been caught on camera by Carscoops, in Grenoble, France.
