New video teasers: The 2020 Mercedes E-Class facelift will be unveiled tomorrow

Mercedes-Benz has released two new video teasers with the future E-Class facelift. According to the German manufacturer, the online presentation of the 2020 Mercedes E-Class will take place on March 3.

Mercedes-Benz is preparing a special event for the launch of the E-Class facelift. The Germans will organize a press conference that will be broadcast online on March 3, this solution being chosen as a result of the decision of the organizers of the Geneva Motor Show to cancel the Swiss event.

To sweeten the fans’ expectation, the Stuttgart manufacturer released two more video teasers announcing the launch of the 2020 Mercedes E-Class facelift. The first of these offers small body details and a few frames with the new digital on-board instrumentation, while the second shows the All-Terrain version.

So far we know that the future Mercedes-Benz E-Class facelift will get a slightly restyled exterior with new headlights and grill, plus a much improved interior. The Germans will introduce the MBUX infotainment system, as well as a number of semi-autonomous driving technologies.

As for the range of engines, the 2020 Mercedes E-Class facelift would benefit from a series of new versions equipped with mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid systems. Mercedes-Benz will introduce a 2.0-liter petrol engine equipped with the EQ Boost system with a 48V electric architecture that will provide a total of 268 horsepower. Those who want a six-cylinder engine will be able to opt for a 3.0-liter engine equipped with the same EQ Boost system. In this case, the top power announced by the Germans will be 362 hp. On the list of new engines we also find a plug-in hybrid diesel + electric equipped with a generous battery capable of offering a range of over 100 kilometers.
