Mercedes-Benz expands the order list of the A-Class Limousine with a manual 180 d. Until recently, that diesel engine was only available with automatic transmission.
Those who are in the market for an A-Class Limousine with diesel engine can only opt for the 116 hp 180 d. Until recently, this diesel engine was only available in combination with a seven-speed automatic transmission with double clutch. From now on, the A-Class Limousine 180 d can also be supplied with a manual transmission.
The A-Class Limousine 180d with manual six-speed gearbox changes hands from € 35,591 (Dutch market). This makes it € 1,081 cheaper than the already known variant with 7G-DCT automatic transmission. The average consumption is – depending on the chosen version – at 4.0 to 4.2 l / 100 km. The 180 d with automatic transmission is slightly more efficient at 3.8 to 4.0 l / 100.
The top speed is 206 km / h equal to that of the self-shifting 180 d. The version with automatic transmission does win during a 0-100 sprint, albeit narrowly. Where the A-Class Limousine 180 d with automatic in 10.6 counts to 100 km / h sprint, the manual version requires 10.7 seconds for that sprint.
