The mighty Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 may be leaving the production line, but the Stuttgart-based company decided it’s high time to show-off once again its impressive off-road capabilities.

In this video we can admire the super-offroader travelling up a mountain pass in Tuscany challenging all the steep slopes and the rocky terrain, the type of environment that only an imposing vehicle like the G 63 AMG 6×6 can handle.  Now imagine this scenario: you are in Tuscany, watching the G 63 AMG 6×6 climbing the rocks and showing off his off-road prowess. You anxiously wait for something to happen in every moment and this soundtrack pops-up in your head. Quite an image, isn’t that so?

The G 63 AMG 6×6 features carbon fiber fender flares, five differential locks and 37-inch all-terrain tires.  The SUV also has a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine – that produces 544 HP (400 kW) and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque – meaning that it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than six seconds.

G 63 AMG

With its superior 6×6 all-wheel drive technology, AMG V8 biturbo power, the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 represents the last word in forward-thrusting power far from the beaten track. Thanks to the wealth of interior enhancements from the AMG division, the occupants enjoy the highest possible degree of comfort, even when the vehicle meets the worst environment, just like in this video. Even in the rocky terrain of Tuscany the offroader challenges the environment with the agility of a mountain goat. The G 63 AMG 6×6 is able to storm up the highest sand dunes with ease and fording a river becomes almost child’s play thanks to the impressive fording capability of one metre.
