Five people survived a horrific crash and escaped without any serious injury after an Audi and a Mercedes-Benz exploded on a highway in Warwickshire, England. Eyewitness claimed there were flames “shooting 30 feet in the air” after the two collided.
The inferno on the highway was caused by a Mercedes-Benz Citan and an Audi A8 sedan just after 7:30 am. Drivers and passengers left the vehicles on time. They were all assessed and discharged at the scene with minor injuries.
“A man and a woman from the car, together with two children, were all assessed and discharged at the scene with minor injuries, as was the man who was driving the van”, said the doctors who checked them on the spot.
Road users were strongly urged to consider alternative routes, as delays added up to even 90 minutes to journeys.
