Mercedes prepares the restyling of the E-Class family. After the sedan and coupe, the All-Terrain variant has just been surprised on the roads of Germany.
Mercedes will revamp its E-Class in 2020 and all versions of the model will benefit of this update, including the sedan, station wagon, coupe and convertible. Presented at the end of 2016 at the Paris Motor Show and then available to order on the European market at the beginning of last year, the rugged version of the estate, called “All-Terrain”, will also be upgraded.
The restyled E-Class All-Terrain has been surprised during a test session on the roads of the Rhine (photo). If we are to believe what we see under the camouflage, this variant should not experience major mods on the design side. Only the grille (Panamericana style), headlights and taillights should be new. Its interior will receive the new infotainment system MBUX.
Under the hood it will feature “traditional” gasoline and diesel units as well as light hybridization engines and plug-in hybrids. Mercedes is expected to reveal more about its revamped E-Class family in the course of 2019.
