More than half of the  Mercedes new models that will be launched in the coming years will be from the new EQ electric range built on the new MEA platform. The first model on the new platform will be Mercedes EQA this fall. Here is the list of Mercedes new models that will appear in the period 2020-2023.

Mercedes S-Class W223   Start at the end of 2020

The first photos with the new Mercedes S-Class W223 have already surfaced on the internet last month.
It is the first S-Class built on the new MRA platform that debuted on the C-Class in 2014. The new S-Class comes with a new ergonomic concept with a huge tablet with a diagonal of 50 cm (20 inches) that will include most functions, the only physical buttons being placed on the bottom of the tablet.

On the new S-Class, the integral steering will make its debut.
The new diesels will remain in the program along with the 6 and 8-cylinder petrol models with mild hybrid technology. It seems that the V12 engine will disappear even from the Maybach models. There will also be Plug-In Hybrid variants.

Mercedes EQA Start at the end of 2020

The name EQA is misleading because EQA does not designate an electric A-Class but an electric Mercedes GLA.
The Mercedes EQA will be a compact electric SUV.

The concept presented in Frankfurt in 2017 had an electric motor on each axle with a total of 272 HP and 500 Nm and the 60 kWh battery gives a WLTP range of 400 km.

We expect the production model to have a basic version with a single engine on the rear axle and a 50 kWh battery.

Mercedes SL Start in 2021

Mercedes will change its strategy in terms of sports models. The new Mercedes SL scheduled for 2021 will be developed by AMG on a specially dedicated platform called MSA which will also be used for the future AMG GT.

Mercedes-Benz SL 2021

Another important change is that the new Mercedes SL will return to the soft top roof and there are rumors that it will have a 2 + 2-seater configuration to compete with the Porsche 911 Cabrio and avoid internal competition with the future AMG GT Cabrio.

Mercedes EQS Start in 2021

The Mercedes Vision EQS concept presented in autumn 2019 in Frankfurt foreshadows the electric luxury limousine that will be sold in parallel with the next generation Mercedes S-Class.
The concept presented in Frankfurt was in the top version with a 100 kWh battery that promises a range of 700 km. The two engines each placed on an axle deliver a power of 476 HP and a torque of 760 Nm which gives an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 4.5 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG One Start in 2021

The Mercedes-AMG One hyper car is delayed due to problems created by the Formula 1-inspired engine.

An F1 engine is built to be used for a few races while the AMG-One’s engine has to withstand many more kilometers. The latest information is that Mercedes-AMG One will appear in 2021 and the price has remained unchanged: 2.275 million euros plus VAT.

Mercedes EQE Start in 2021

The electric version of the Mercedes E-Class will debut at the end of 2021. Some compare the Tesla Model S with the future Merceses EQS, but in terms of size and space, the Mercedes EQE is closer to the Tesla Model S than the EQS.
