Mercedes will present the first images with the new car for the 2019 Formula 1 season on February 13th, five days before the start of Barcelona’s first test session.
Mercedes announced on Wednesday its schedule for launching its new Formula 1 car. The current world champion scheduled a shakedown on the Silverstone circuit on February 13, and the press will not have access to the event. However, the Germans will publish pictures with the new car, which will be known as the W10.
The launch of the Mercedes W10 2019 Formula 1 car is the most anticipated before the new season, as the German team has conquered the last 5 world titles for pilots and builders.
So far, six other teams have announced the launch program for their new 2019 cars and the start will be given by Toro Rosso on February 11th.
The first test session of the new season will be held between February 18 and February 21, while the second session will take place between February 26 and March 1, in Barcelona.
Liberty Media also announced that it will hold a special event on March 13th to mark the launch of the new Formula One season. The event will take place in Melbourne and will feature all the drivers on the starting grid.
