Mercedes is set to play a small role in Spectre, the latest instalment in the James Bond franchise, we can reveal.
A black E-Class sedan with Italian license plates has been spotted on the set of the next James Bond movie, as evidenced by a spy video taken on the outskirts of Oxfordshire’s spectacular Blenheim Palace.
It’s a long shot, we know, since we can expect the black E-Class sedan in question is merely an extra. Of course, the main stars of Spectre will be Aston Martin’s bespoke DB10 coupe and Jaguar’s C-X75 axed supercar concept.
Designed exclusively for the new James Bond Spectre picture, the new Aston Martin DB10 was build in-house following a close collaboration with the movie’s director Sam Mendes who wanted “the ultimate car for the world’s most famous spy.”
The film footage posted on YouTube shows rehearsals for the main action sequence where Mr. Bond tries to escape from Christoph Waltz’s henchmen.
