Polish tuner Carlex Design has given the Mercedes-Benz X-class pick-up the Maybach treatment. FIRST DETAILS.

With the X-Class, Mercedes-Benz has its first real pick-up in its program, a car that Mercedes-Benz can also deliver in an extra sturdy Power version. Carlex Design does not see much in that rugged decoration and has presented a remarkable luxury variant instead.

The X-Class is modified by Carlex Design to mimic the Maybach sub-brand design language. The grille and wheels seem to come from the S 650 Cabriolet and the entire interior is packed with Nappa leather to the smallest corners. According to Carlex Design this is indeed the same type of leather as in the Maybach models.

From outside, the X-Class is further taken upmarket with a bodykit of carbon fiber consisting of 15 components. No technical updates are in store, as Carlex Design is mainly a styling tuning house as opposed to the more famed Brabus.
