This Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 with Brabus mods just can’t seem to find a forever home. It went on sale again and sold again. This time, with a price drop of $180,000.
A Mercedes-Benz G63 6×6 monster is not easy to sell. It comes with a 5.5-liter turbocharged V8, it sports triple portal axles, it’s got five electronic differentials and a price that would make the wealthiest petrolheads question their financial capability.
The off-roader rolled off the assembly line in 2014 as one of the never-known-for-sure number of 100 units. What makes it even more special is the magic wand of Brabus. The engineers of the German tuning house added some carbon fiber body parts, some extra LED lighting, a wooden deck bed and that diamond-pattern leather that makes the interior look all-luxury and makes you feel you can’t possibly go off-roading in this. Oh, yes, you can. You don’t that almost half a meter of ground clearance, portal axles and tire inflation system for nothing. They sure do more than just look good in a sales ad on the internet.
The new owner of the 6×6 Mercedes can only drive it for 2,500 miles per year and has to comply with the “Show or Display” requirements and limitations. It must undergo NHTSA inspection until it reaches 25 years and becomes a historical vehicle.
According to the listing on Bring a Trailer (BaT), the truck reached the U.S. soil under the “Show or Display” exemption. It was previously on the same website in December 2021. Back then, it was purchased by the current selling dealer, before being sold.
It only drove for 8,000 miles in its 8-year career. It comes with a clean Carfax report, all the necessary paperwork and service records. And it just sold for $1,170,000. That is $180,000 less than its previous selling price of $1,350,000 dollars.
