Brabus, the traditional Mercedes-Benz tuner has modified the Mercedes-Benz EQC 400 4Matic and increased the power and torque of the electric motors from 408 HP/760 Nm to 422 HP/830 Nm.

The traditional Mercedes-Benz tuner Brabus is recognized for big-displacement combustion engines used to modify Mercedes-Benz models. But the Brabus team is now showing that it can also optimize electric drive trains.

The concept for the BRABUS E-PowerXtra power upgrade increases output to 422 HP and 830 Nm torque from 408 HP and 760 Nm. This enables the five-door model to achieve even sportier driving performance: From a standing start the refined electric SUV catapults itself to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds compared with 5.1 seconds for the standard model.  The top speed remains limited to 180 km/h (112 mph).
While the BRABUS aerodynamics kit is still under development with the exception of the already available rear spoiler, the appearance of the electrically powered SUV can already be upgraded with custom-made BRABUS Monoblock Z alloy wheels in 20 or 21-inch diameter. The 20 inch wheels has the dimensions 8.5 x 20 inches at the front and 9.5 x 20 inches at the rear and are mated with Pirelli P Zero tyres 255/45 R20 at the front and 285/40 R20 at the rear.

The maximum power of 422 HP is available in the Sport Mode, while in Eco mode the recuperation of the energy is maximum and the car can be driven with the typical One-pedal feeling.

The interior is based on the special 1886 Edition. Brabus offers aluminum door locking pins and pedals as well as door sills with the Brabus logo illuminated in different colors. As with all Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the interior of the EQC 400 4MATIC offers numerous individual refinement options, including the particularly exclusive BRABUS fine leather interior.
