In case you were wondering how a perfect drift looks like, Lewis Hamilton is happy to share his wisdom. The result is rabid fun at the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG on track.
And not any track, mind you, but the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, home to Mercedes-Benz World. In fact, Hamilton spends most of his “free-time” there, acting as a fully-fledged instructor for aspiring professional drivers.
A role which brings quite a few liberties, incidentally. As part of his five courses, the Formula One champion is entertaining his students with a plethora of “boring” manouevres like donuts, burnouts and, of course, drifting.
All with the grace and open-minded attitude that only a racing legend can display. After all, Lewis Hamilton did win more races than any other British driver in the history of Formula One (37 wins).
“I didn’t realize a car could spin like that. That’s amazing!” This is how Hamilton teased the childishly happy team mates, lucky enough to be driven around by the master himself. Enjoy the ride!
