Since the Mercedes EQS SUV does not have an AMG variant, the Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV is the first high-performance electric SUV from AMG. It is available in two versions.

Presented in Paris at the same time as the standard EQE SUV, the Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV is available in two versions:
– AMG EQE 43 4Matic 476 hp/858 Nm
– AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ 626 hp/950 Nm (687 hp/1000 Nm with AMG Dynnamic Plus package)
The top version EQE 53 4Matic+ comes with the AMG Dynamic Plus package with Boost function.
The driver can choose between Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Race Start modes (with Boost function for AMG EQE 53 4Matic+) by turning the rotary knob on the bottom right of the steering wheel. The driving modes change throttle response, steering and suspension response and also power level from 50% in Slippery to 85% in Comfort, 90% in Sport, 100% in Sport+ and Race Start on EQE 43 and 110% in Race Start with Boost function on EQE 53.
Separately, the driver can change from the rotary knob on the bottom left of the steering wheel the suspension response, engine sound response between Balanced, Sport and Powerful or completely disconnect the ESP system.

Optionally, the top version AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ can be ordered with the AMG Dynamic Plus package which comes with Race Start mode with Boost function (in this case the 0-100 km/h acceleration is achieved in only 3.5 seconds), a fourth type of sound called Performance and a higher top speed of 240 km/h.

Both models come standard with AMG Ride Control+ adaptive air suspension and integral steering with 9-degree steering angle. Also, only on the AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ can you order the active anti-roll bar stabilization system that uses electric motors on each axle connected to the car’s 48V auxiliary power supply.

The AMG versions feature the same 90.6 kWh battery as the regular EQE versions, giving a range of 431-488 km (energy consumption 22.0-25.1 kWh/100 km) in the EQE 43 and 375-470 km (energy consumption 22.6-27.8 kWh/100 km) in the EQE 53. The battery can be charged as in the EQE from 11 kW AC stations (optionally 22 kW) or DC stations up to 170 kW and is guaranteed for 10 years or 250,000 km.
