The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 is eager to unleash its power. An image of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 accidentally appeared in the German builder’s online configurator, although the release will take place in just a few months.
The new Mercedes-Benz CLA officially arrived in January. The German manufacturer confirmed that the model will receive several AMG performance versions. The first of them arrived just three months later and was named Mercedes-AMG CLA 35. It is already available for purchase on certain European markets. The next release is the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, which will arrive on the market in a few months.
The latter has shown its face ahead of time as well. The German Auto Bild magazine has found an image of the future Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 in the online configurator of Mercedes, published in the section dedicated to the new CLA 35. Thus, when choosing the AMG Night Package, there is an additional image attributed to the CLA 35. This is actually, the CLA 45.
What is different in the looks of the future Mercedes-AMG CLA 45?
The visual differences are not radical, but there is an element that confirms that Mercedes-Benz uploaded a CLA 45 image: the presence of four exhaust ports. In addition, the inscription on the back of the model suggests that it might even be a higher version with the name CLA 45 S, but this will be confirmed or informed in the coming period.
How powerful the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 version will be is not entirely certain. The Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 is just like its other AMG 35 sibling. It should come with up to 306 hp and 300 Nm, a power that comes from a turbo 2.0-liter engine. The Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 version of the previous generation made 381 hp and 475 Nm. Rumors indicate that the future CLA 45 will be available in 388 hp and 421 hp versions. We will undoubtedly learn more about that soon!
