Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe facelift will join the updated C-Class Coupe and Convertible in New York at this month’s NY Auto Show.

The world premiere has been officially confirmed for tomorrow by Mercedes-Benz via an official teaser on the company’s USA Tweeter feed. The revamped model is expected to receive the same upgrades as its civilian brethren, including styling changes that resume to redesigned bumpers and headlights.

Under the bonnet we will find the same twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine which could see it power output taken beyond today’s 476 and 510 PS ratings (in standard Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S guises). Acceleration should also go under the current 3.9 seconds needed to reach the 100 km/h mark for C 63 S.

Inside, Mercedes-AMG is likely to use the same restyled steering wheel and latest generation infotaintment system with a new 10.25-inch TFT screen and touchpad controller, coupled with 12.3-inch digital instruments. The assistance systems list should also be more generous and set to include such features as Active Steering Assist system with Active Lane Change Assist and Active Emergency Stop Assist.

We will know more tomorrow so come back for a full report from the New York Auto Show’s floor.
