Newly come out just 4 days ago, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 4MATIC opens a new dimension in vehicle dynamics. It is more of everything, as figures say: more power, more aerodynamics and – we’ll have to take their word for it before we try it ourselves – more comfortable to ride.
The A 45 now has additional 21 HP and extra 25 Nm, going up to a total of 381 HP and 475 Nm, solidifying its position of being the world’s most powerful compact car, since it shelters the AMG 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine.
The hot hatch runs the 0-100 km/h distance in just 4.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 270 km/h (with the optional AMG Driver’s Package). The A boasts a fuel consumption of 7.3 – 6.9 l/100 km.
Displaying harmonious proportions, yet aggressive styling, the revised A is set to become the favorite of those who are addicted to performance driving.
