The Polish tuning house Carlex Design has presented a second version of its bizarre six-wheeled Mercedes-Benz X-Class. The new project is, believe it or not, a Mad Max style Pace Car pick-up truck.

Carlex Design has a department that is purely and solely engaged in the conversion of pick-ups: Pickup Design. It is that department that now shows another very special Mercedes-Benz X-Class.

Monster! Carlex Design prepares the six-wheeled Mercedes-Benz X-Class

Incidentally, not for the first time. In October, the company already pushed forward a six-wheeled X-Class, but where that car was dressed as a skilled offroader, this new creation is apparently dressed as a pace-car.

The modified X-Class, which is given the name Monster X, actually stands closer to the asphalt. The car even has a striking amount of negative camber. Carlex Design gives the X-Class not only a second rear axle, but also an unusual amount of carbon fiber and a very sporty bonnet. A light bar has been placed on the roof and the X-Class stands on enormous tires with white lettering. Details about the powertrain remain secret.
