The new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé is the star of the company’s latest promotional campaign. A family car with the DNA of a sports car, the GT brings the top space, practicality and excitement that only it can provide.
The campaign for the car launched in March 2018, includes three phases:
- “The GT 4-Door Coupé – the ideal of a 4-door GT sports car.”
- “The GT 4-Door Coupé – a proud new member of the AMG GT family.”
- “The GT 4-Door Coupé – Life is a race.”
The TV commercial “Life Track” displays fast-paced images, sequences alternating between sporty driving on the racetrack and shots of the every-day life of the main character. He lives with the impression that his life is a race, through setbacks and triumphs, from morning to evening and all is performed with the help of his companion, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé.
Costa del Sol and Marbella in Spain, but also Circuito Ascari, were the sets for the shooting of the short film.
The “Life is a race” campaign will cover Europe, China and the United States and it will include the TV ad and the social media activities such as images, film sequences and editorials.
The first four-door sports car made in Affalterbaach comes with more space, more power and – the car maker claims – more goose bumps, thus expanding the AMG GT family with an athletic car featuring the engineering of a sports car.
The goose bumps are supplied by its 4.0-liter V8 engine with outputs ranging from 435 horsepower and 639 horsepower and a top speed of 315 km/h.
