The incident reportedly happened at Cannes’ Gotha Club, following the world champion’s attendance at red carpet events at the Cannes film festival last week. The German already completed his test run last Wednesday in Barcelona, after receiving Mercedes’ invitation only the night before. “Yes, I would be ready,” Wehrlein said when asked if he feels up to a Mercedes team seat.
