Your majesty, this is your kingdom! Step into the off-road! An amazing video recently released shows the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4² into its own wild habitat: a kingdom away from the road.
The land where the extremes meet. This is the territory of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4², the next best thing to the giant 6×6, from which it inherited the complex axle geometry.
A car with an appearance that hardly changed along the decades, but receiving new high-tech equipment and comfort features, yet with a popularity that remains unbeatable.
For the SUV created to conquer any terrain, from city to dirt, there is no mountain too high, no river too deep, no street too narrow. In the lands with broad horizons, exploration is not about what you see, it is about what you feel. How does the off-road feel in a Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4²?

All this royal behavior even in extreme situations comes for a price. Nothing is for free, not even in the off-road. For 226.100 euros, one gets the SUV with the portal axles, permanent all-wheel drive, an off-road reduction in the transfer case and three lockable differentials, together with 416 HP developed by its V8 included. A seven-speed 7G-tronic automatic gearbox partners up with the specially-developed 4×4 system, channeling the power permanently to all four wheels.
It looks royally military on the outside, but it’s plush and posh on the inside. The dashboard, the center console and armrests in the doors are covered with black designo leather with white contrasting topstitching, while the seats and door panels are covered with Dinamica microfibre.
