Mercedes-Benz has just revealed a new generation of the GLE with up to seven seats and of course a new GLE Coupe is also in the pipeline. This is how the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe will look like.
Although the ‘GLE’ nameplate has been present in the Mercedes line-up only since 2015, the car which wore it was available since 2011. The German brand saw in a major facelift for the ML the appropriate opportunity to give the car a new name and to add a new variant: the GLE Coupe. Mercedes-Benz is now renewing its model range and that includes a new GLE family. That is necessary, because rivals like the BMW X5 and the X6 are younger.
After showing you the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE and its innovative active suspension, we now reveal spy pics of the new GLE Coupe, a car that follows the same Coupe SUV recipe as its predecessor.
Just like the new GLE, the new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe also seems to be slightly more slender than the model that still stands at the dealers. The roofline appears to be a few centimeters lower than is currently the case and that can undoubtedly do nothing but good for the design of the GLE Coupe.
The back is still covered with stickers, but expect a set of broad and relatively flat rear light units that get a place high at the top of the stern.
The new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe on the market next year, some four years after the launch of the current generation. For the first time, the car, like the BMW X6, faces a competitor with four rings on his nose: the new Audi Q8.
