He really wished he had an X-Class instead. But this German driver found the next best thing to a pick-up truck. It was his Mercedes-Benz C-Class T-Modell that he carried all he had in his home with. The police totally disapproved of it.

The police asked him to pull over along the highway. If the driver believed he could keep a low profile while carrying strollers, office chairs, bicycles and others, he was terribly wrong. He had way more than the weight allowed. Auto-motor-und-sport tells that the tires of the vehicle had already warmed up due to the overload.

The roof of the vehicle managed to withstand wooden panels, about twelve tires and a few strollers and bicycles.

The bicycle support attached to the trailer hitch was instead carrying a piano and an office chair, going in excess of 100 kilograms, even though such bicycle carriers are built to withstand a maximum weight of 60 kilograms.

There were various drivers who reported the man with the overload along the A8 motorway, between Leonberg Ost and the Stuttgart interchange. The highway patrol immediately found the C-Class T-Modell and diverted it to the traffic police headquarters for investigation and sanction. The authorities weight everything the man was transporting and it turned out that the C-Class T-Modell is quite a workhorse: it was carrying 400 kilograms!
