Mercedes-Maybach knows how to build up the tension nicely. Tomorrow, the luxury division of Mercedes-Benz pulls the fabric off the new Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept car. Today we get to see a final teaser.
Mercedes-Maybach shows a video of the now officialy titled Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, a design study with a length of six meters. The moving images show the back of the immense coupe much better. More interesting perhaps is the fact that the Colossus features the Mercedes signature Gullwing doors.
The Vision addition to the name should be seen as indicative of the design which Mercedes-Maybach wants to take the next few years. The coupe gets thin LED front and rear lights and a classic Mercedes grille.
The last time we got to see a conceptual coupe from Maybach was in 2004, when the Exelero was presented to the public. It remained a pure study, though. Tomorrow we will know more about the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6; as it will be presented to the public at Pebble Beach.
