3,000 kilometers throughout Europe on board the most intelligent business limousine, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, from Lisbon to Stuttgart. That is a roadtrip to tell grandchildren one day. And this is exactly what a team of road adventureres do.

German photographer Florian Roser, filmmaker Arne Totz and model Marisa Papen go on a trip with the Masterpiece of Intelligence from Lisbon in Portugal to Stuttgart in Germany, visiting Madrid, Montpellier and Annecy along the way.

The Mercedes-Benz E 300 slowly glides above the road, to the beat of the state-of-the-art Burmester sound system, floating  through the morning mist, across the Tagur River, along Europe’s longest bridge, Vasco da Gama. Over 17 kilometers of steel and cables connect the two sides of the capital of Portugal, Lisabon.

The sedan is getting tons of attention along the narrow street of the poetic neighbourhood Bairo Alto. An encounter with the iconic Lisbon tram in Baixa shows that classic is always classy.

And off along winding roads the E goes. A long trip awaits, so there is no time for the westernest point of continental Europe, Cabo da Roca. The road to Stuttgart is long and it has just begun. We’ll show you the rest of it in episode two of the exclusive roadtrip.
