After the GLE and the GLS, Mercedes will soon present the new GLE Coupe, as revealed by the latest batch of spy photos published a few days ago. Now we can show you the first video, too.

All-new Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe loses camouflage, gets up to 612 hp

At Mercedes, the SUV GLE has just moved to a new generation of models. Its big brother, the GLS, has also received a brand new version to go to the assault of the recent BMW X7.

But the Mercedes GLE Coupe is still available on the former platform of the previous GLE, born ML-Class before its name change during the mid-career restyling.

Compared to the all-new GLE (W167), the coupe is largely identical from the B-pillar forward. It is based on the MRA platform of the new E-Class and will thus reduce the weight in comparison to its predecessor by a few kilograms.

Mercedes refines the settings of its brand new GLE Coupé that will join the catalog of the brand in the coming months. The model will retain its plump silhouette of “SUV coupe”, but everything else will be new to meet the latest BMW X6 or Audi Q8.

And today, thanks to Carspotter Jeroen YouTube channel, we can see this model stretch the wheels on the Nordschleife in the video below.
