The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLE is inching closer to its official debut, slowly revealing more design cues along the way. New spy pictures!

Espionage photographers have already caught the new Mercedes-Benz GLE several times. We have already been able to show the interior of the car and in mid-June the exterior of the new SUV was also revealed pretty well.

Today, Instagram user Frankfurtercarspotter ran into a GLE covered with thin camouflage blankets at the airport of Frankfurt. In fact, the light camo confirms what we already nurtured. The new Mercedes-Benz GLE gets a more slender and significantly more rounded design, which makes the car better suited to the rest of its family members. The slanted C-pillar of the current generation returns to the new generation and again the rear window is optically connected to the rear side windows thanks to the black plastic parts.

The current GLE is already 7 years old in the base and the competition has not been idle. The current Audi Q7 was put on the market in 2015, the BMW X5 has recently been completely renewed, while the outgoing model even came on the market just two years after the GLE / ML class. Of course Mercedes-Benz will also come up with a GLE Coupé, a car that has also been caught in a camouflage suit.
