Brabus is clearly one of the best when it comes to tuning Mercedes-Benz vehicles, but it also adds an excellent touch in terms of restoring brand’s classic cars.

Brabus was founded in 1977 in Germany and it is a high-performance tuning company that specializes in Mercedes-Benz, smart and Maybach models.

One of the most elegant and fascinating classics they have restored is this 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE Convertible 3.5 litre.

What’s more surprising is that this Mercedes 280 SE is brand new and when we say it, we really mean it. After restoration this car had 0 kilometers on the board which makes it a rather rare specimen on the roads. If you want to check it, you can find the car on Brabus’ official website. But brace yourselves, because the price tag is a staggering 495,000 Euros, yes, indeed, almost half million euros. But it will be worth every cent because it looks like it has just left the factory, even though on the registration plate it says “02.04.1970”

This Mercedes-Benz 280 SE received the 6-star restoration treatment at BRABUS Classic Center, which includes a meticulous inspection of every component, while retaining all the exterior and interior features, including the engine. Under the hood you can find the same 3.5 liter eight-cylinder that delivers 200 horsepower.

It was a car ahead of its time. And we say this because it featured electric windows, air conditioning, heat absorbing glass, beige leather upholstery, black fabric soft top and a Becker Europa Stereo radio.
