Let’s go Back to the Future! October 21st is the day celebrating the amazing Science Fiction comedy series. Mercedes-Benz is celebrating the day by releasing three videos ads with the time machine F015 Luxury in Motion starring in them.
Soon after releasing the “Baby, you can drive my car” video ad, Mercedes-Benz comes up with several TV ads showcasing details from the famous series of the 80s and early 90s, directed by Robert Zemeckis and produced by the world famous Steven Spielberg.
To celebrate “Back into the Future” Day on October, 21st, Mercedes-Benz shows the carmaker’s vision of the future driving style, by the help of their autonomous car, the F015 Luxury in Motion, already testing in the US.
There is no Michael J. Fox playing Marty McFly and being stranded in 1955, and there is no Christopher Lloyd playing Dr. Emmet Brown and trying to get him back into the future, in the three short commercials.
But this is 2015 of the “Back to the Future II” and the predictions did not go completely wrong. Our fashion has not gone space punk yet and holograms are restricted to the world of entertainment. But we’ve got the autonomous driving. The time machine of the present is called Mercedes-Benz F015 Luxury in Motion.
All three videos end with the same reply: “Thanks for inspiring our engineers, Doc. Happy Back to the Future Day.”
