The German tuner Brabus chose the new Baby Benz Mercedes A-Class as its latest project and the result is the most powerful non-AMG compact model to ever wear the three pointed star.
Currently, the most powerful regular petrol version of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class is the 224 hp A 250. If you want more petrol power, you need to take advantage of the 306 hp Mercedes-AMG A 35, a temporary top model that will have to make way to an extremely strong A 45 AMG with more than 400 PS next year.
Now, since the gap between the A 250 and A 35 is quite large, the German tuner Brabus has found the perfect opportunity to come up with an intermediate version.
The appearance of Brabus’ creation is certainly not exactly below that of the A 35 in terms of theatrics: heavy spoiler work, 20-inch light metal wheels and sports exhaust, it’s all on.
Brabus bases its new creation on the 224 hp and 350 Nm powerful A 250. That four-cylinder is developing after the Brabus cure (includes a modified ECU) a healthy 270 hp and 430 Nm. This means that a speed of 100 km / h is hit in 5.9 seconds. Top speed? 250 km / h.
